I donapos;t work tomorrow so look forward to getting all those loose ends wrapped up and a little breather from a very busy week. Yesterday I went to my Girl Scout Leader meeting and won a gift basket from a raffle (bribery for attending). It was full of personal toiletry items like three scented lotions, a scrubby and bath mitt, minty soap, pack of razors with shaving gel, deoderant, scarlet nail polish, Oil of Olay facial wash, and Neutragena lip balm. Very nice BTW, if anyone wants to order magazines or renew a subscription, the girl scout magazine fundraiser is kicking off.
My jury duty postponement went through, now I am reporting on November 14th. Which is the library staff meeting. Sigh, at least I have a good excuse to miss it. And good news, since I was scheduled to work a full day that day, I get paid Very good news. I will have to sign over my whopping $25 jury pay to the library however. But I can keep my 10 cents a mile reimbursement. Ten cents???? Iapos;d really rather not get pulled into a trial but I guess whatever comes, comes.
