i try understand why i love the music

i used to think that my music
was to differ myself from otherapos;s
or just to set myself apart
but the truth is, itapos;s what makes me happy
its what i listen to pull me through hard times.
or just something to listen to while iapos;m cleaning.
its what i love.
and iapos;m tired of trying
to stomach other things
when i know i donapos;t like it.
thereapos;s no point. B/c i just donapos;t like it.
there really isnapos;t any point.

rap
rb (as much)
pop
heavy metal
electro
thereapos;s no point.
i just like the above artist
and more.
but thatapos;s it and iapos;m tired
of the faces people make when
they look through my playlists
or look at the song on my page
eff you. Haha seriously though
i like it and honestly, idc if you do.
if itapos;s not cussing you out or "hating"
on what you believe in, why does it bother you.
i like listening to someone talk about how happy
they are. Or someone talk about essence of love
triangles-and despite how complicated they are-
the artist loves it (spoon). I like when artist
talk about a bar fight and how they ran from the
police (arctic monkeys). Itapos;s just my preference.

it literally doesnapos;t get any better.
and this whole situation helps with
my new mentality on "not complaining"
about things and i think iapos;ve been
doing a pretty good job? idk really.
lifeapos;s just taking me by storm and
the only one true word to describe it is:
exhilaration.
i wake up every morning, eyes wide
breathless, and just happy.
isnapos;t that the whole essence of life?
the whole point? to wake up and be..happy.
before anything triggers said happiness?
yeah. Thatapos;s the point, so honestly, for the FIRST
time in a long ass time, i can say iapos;m really truly
living my life to the fullest. And iapos;m not forcing this
happiness either, like iapos;m no longer say iapos;m happy just
to say the damn phrase, I just am.
I thank God.
